In mid-Dec, we had the honour to invite Mr. Wong Wangtai, the chairman of Wanchai District Council, to pay a visit to our office and to give our colleagues an update on the latest situation of our Country as well as to introduce the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC. Through the sharing, we can fully understand its meaning and its great significance to the development of Hong Kong.

 

As an economic hub backed by the motherland and connected to the world, Hong Kong has many favourable conditions for development and unique competitive advantages. Over the past 25 years since the handover, Hong Kong’s economy and society have been prosperous and stable. It is very obvious to tell that under the “One country, Two systems”, the Country has brought us various new opportunities, enabling Hong Kong to continue to leverage its unique advantages. The Central Government’s insistence on “one country, two systems” will not be altered. This clearly demonstrates the development of Hong Kong has the full support of the Country, and has reinforced the confidence of all sectors and investors in Hong Kong’s future.

 

We benefited from a lot from Mr. Wong Wangtai’s sharing this time, which inspired us to be good young people in the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and are willing to struggle, and actively integrate oneself into the development of the Country. We also look forward to participating in more learning and related exchanges in the future.
