I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our website and I would also like to start by telling you a story of myself. Having over 20 years’ experience of playing snooker, I have gained lots of skills and tactics from it which are not only beneficial to my playing of this sport but also advantageous to my career. Snooker is a cue sport played using a cue and 22 coloured balls on a cushioned pool table. It is mostly played as a great pastime activity.

Playing snooker is like my profession, as a Certified Public Accountant in the ever-changing business environment, auditing, and accounting professions are also bounded by rules and regulations. The more you devote to your career, the better ways you can serve your clients. Playing a game of snooker requires lots of concentration and this helps me to build the habit of concentrating on the engagements of my client’s business. In a game of snooker, players must focus on cueing the cue ball (white ball), the correct angle to hit the cue ball, the posture on the table and the angle the cue ball will move after striking the ball. All of these require extra attention, persistence, and being detailed-oriented which will help my concentration when serving my clients. The game of snooker has also improved my concentration on other life goals.

In snooker, players learn to keep a cool head when he's faced with a crisis. This taught me to be pragmatic and always logic when solving a problem. In my role as a Certified Public Accountant, I don’t lose control under pressure but keep my eyes on relevant facts only. Snooker also challenges one’s imagination to improvise and solve a problem with creativity on the spot.

I am always inspired by the sportsmanship of great athletes. One of my favourite quotes is from a famous snooker player Ronnie O’ Sullivan: “Looking for perfection is the only way to motivate yourself”.
